It's here! My 2014 Project Life book has arrived

My 2014 Project Life book arrived this week ... all 140 pages of it ... and I wanted to share my excitement. It's always so fun getting a book in the mail and seeing IRL that all those hours spent playing in Photoshop (which I enjoyed every minute of BTW!) have paid off and seeing so many of my family's memories documented in such a tangible way!

BTW .. once again Blurb did a fabulous job with the printing. It makes me more excited    (impatient?) because I've got 2 more books that I'm waiting to receive - hopefully this week - that I sent off to print after this book!

Earlier today I posted the album covers I created for my 2014 Project Life album. I used the calendar page design for the album covers for both this year AND last year's project life books. This is it! I've created the front and back covers for my Project Life album so the weekly documentation of the happenings of my family's life is officially complete. I love Project Life!

2014 Project Life | Extra Christmas pages (Just Jaimee December 2014 Storyteller Collection)

When there are big family events that happen during the week I like to include extra pages in my Project Life album. Seldom is that as evident as during Christmas week! I love to be able to include lots of extra family photos ... and absolutely do not want to be limited to squeezing them all in to only 2 pages in a week.

Here are the 6 extra family detail pages I'm including my my 2014 album. I haven't even made my "regular" Project Life pages for Week 52. Week 52 isn't even done until tonight! Those pages will include more of the ordinary goings-on of the week.

Project Life Week 48 + Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving (those of you in the U.S.!).

I had a odd situation this week for Project Life. I of course wanted to make a second 2-page spread to highlight Thanksgiving, but for my "regular" week I had almost no photos. I decided to include more journal cards and do more writing. I also updated my Facebook individual and design page as well as my blog header and I also made a Christmas card so I thought ... what the heck ... I'll include that too. I still managed to fill up the week!

FYI, for all 4 pages I used Mye De Leon's Snuggle Up Collection. Isn't it a fun collection?! For the first part of the week I also used the Merriment Alpha which is also by Mye De Leon.

2014 Project Life | Week 47

I used my friend Mye De Leon's gorgeous new I Collect Memories Merriment Collection to make this week's Project Life pages. The entire collection is on sale for only $10 through tomorrow at Snap Click Supply Co. in case you want to check out an awesome deal!

It seems like the focus this week was on driving. My daughter got her drivers permit ... she is positively thrilled! Also, my son got into a fender bender at a parking lot this week.  No one was hurt so really - the fact that no one was hurt is all that really matters. Other than that, it was quite an expensive lesson, but we are so proud of how he handled himself. He left a note on the car he hit and has been taking responsibility. Scott was out of town the beginning of the week so Grant did all the talking with the other car owner earlier the week. This kid is growing up. What a great kid! Yes, I'm going to call him a kid. He's not 18 for another week so I get to say kid for a few more days, right?

Project Life | Week 46

Can you believe we're up to Week 46 already? WOW!

I looked through my stash of kits by Mye De Leon and decided on her I Collect Memories Unscripted Collection for this week's pages. I also threw in one of Cathy Zielske's Privacy Circles because my kids would kill me if I included a sleeping picture of them! I TOTALLY get it and respect that. My daughter was so cute sleeping with the dog though so I couldn't cover up the pup! LOL!

Project Life | Week 45 (a recap of a typical week)

Time for a weekly Project Life recap. I didn't take many photos this week so I threw in some screenshots and Facebook posts and I also enlarged some photos to fill out (and fully document) the week! Its all good. Project Life is a little different every week.

It's been a busy week. Halloween, family time. You know ... a busy fall week. With a day spent with family in Duluth on Saturday and lots of iPhone pics I scrapped 4 pages again this week!
