Volleyball Memories (Anna Aspnes artsy style)

I had coffee with scrapping friends this week. My friend Ann Marie shared with me a vacation album she created in the Anna Aspnes artsy style. It was gorgeous! I decided that's the style I'm going to use for my upcoming spring break vacation album.  I'm anxious to get started but unfortunately I'm not going to allow myself to start until I send my 2014 album off to print. Anyway ... 

I've also been seeing a friend, Heather, sharing all the incredible artsy pages she created with Anna's designs so with lots of hand holding and FB chats with Heather this weekend ... and direction on what is great stuff to buy ... and taking advantage of the great iNSD sales this weekend ... I got started.

Like I mentioned, I haven't started my vacation album yet, but I did dip my toe into the artsy style with this volleyball "foto inspired" page. What a blast!

2015 Project Life Week 11 (Just Jaimee's April 2015 Storyteller Raine Collection)

I'm loving Just Jaimee's April 2015 Storyteller Raine Collection (available at the Lilypad) ... it was so bright and fun for making my collection of Project Life week 11 photos ... and I think the bright colors show off the beautiful photo of my husband's grandmother who sadly passed away last week at the age of 97.  (She doesn't look like she was 97 does she?) While we're of course sad because we're going to miss her ... we are happy that she lived an awesome, full life!

I'm at the point now where I'm going back and looking through my photos for the year and figuring what stories I still want to tell in my album. It's a fun process ... and still I'm anxious to finish it up so I can print my album and look through all my pages for the year!

Celebrating of season of high school volleyball

Since the high school volleyball season is now over and my daughter is starting her next season of volleyball (that will extend until June sometime), I thought it'd be the perfect time to scrap some high school volleyball photos! We spend a lot of time watching volleyball. Good thing it's such a fun sport to watch!

Anyone else scrap in the car? (Sports Pages for my kiddos)

So, does anyone else use their time in the car (long car rides, not trips to the grocery store of course! LOL!) to catch up on some digi scrapping? I do and I love it. Thankfully my husband does the driving on our long car rides, which leaves mean I can scrap if I want to. It makes me feel so productive!

Yup. These pages are both pretty much the same. I took Jana Morton's Inspired Images class and decided a sports page was in order for each of my kids. They'll be the same design in the book, but I figured if I were to buy prints from one of those sports places they'd offer similar designs to so what the heck! These were super fun pages to put together!
