Merry Christmas! (Yes ... Thanksgiving is officially over so Christmas is beginning!) ;)

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving today! The "official" U.S. Thanksgiving Turkey Day is over so it's time to get the Christmas card going! OK ... to clarify ... Thanksgiving is not over for my family because we've got another big German-themed Thanksgiving celebration to look forward to on Saturday! :)

I like to get my Christmas card going early when I can (in part because I want to be able to pick my cards up before the incredibly long crazy lines start at the photo center at Costco) so I sat down for a while this morning before the rest of the family got up and made our Christmas cards. It's early but it's still time to share ...

I used Mye De Leon's I Collect Memories Merriment Collection. This Collection is just so darn cute! I've used it several times already in the short week I've had the kit!

Have you ever had a chance to scrap with any of Mye De Leon's beautiful smears from her kits? (The smears are the gorgeous pieces of brushwork art behind the photos.) I've gotta tell you ... I absolutely ADORE them! They're just so pretty!

Can you believe we're up to Week 46 already? WOW!

I looked through my stash of kits by Mye De Leon and decided on her I Collect Memories Unscripted Collection for this week's pages. I also threw in one of Cathy Zielske's Privacy Circles because my kids would kill me if I included a sleeping picture of them! I TOTALLY get it and respect that. My daughter was so cute sleeping with the dog though so I couldn't cover up the pup! LOL!

Project Life | Week 43 (Our 20th Anniversary ... extra pages)

Jumping ahead a little bit ... Last night I scrapped my Project Life pages for my husband and my 20th anniversary celebration this past weekend. Tonight (or tomorrow) I'll put together my "regular" PL pages for the week. For me, when a big event of some sort takes place during a week I like to include additional Project Life pages. The inclusion extra pages make for a little bit bigger book at the end of the year, but I really love telling a more detailed story.

I had a chance to play with Mye De Leon's September ICM Abundance Collection for these pages. I absolutely love this kit. There are so many digi goodies I haven't had a chance to play with yet!

Totally Random Comment: "I Still Like You Guys"

... a great totally random and deadpan comment from my son at dinner the other day when we'd just gotten back from vacation  ... "You know, even though we've spent pretty much every minute together this past week, I still like you guys."
