How to include videos on your scrapbook pages!

I love including videos on my scrapbook pages. I think it's a great addition to my pages.

I thought others might like to learn how to include videos on their pages as well so I blogged over at Scrapaneers today and gave step by step instructions telling you just how to do it. Check out my post here if you want to learn how!

Now my only challenge with videos is that I need to remember to TAKE videos. I'm definitely getting better at clicking the record button on my iPhone!

Scrapaneers | Conquering the Two Page Layout

Hey! Happy Friday! It's a snowy one here where I live. I'm hoping that someday this winter that just keeps giving and giving with cold and snow would give up and give us a break! I know, spring will come eventually. Just not soon enough for me!

I wanted to share with you that I blogged over at Scrapaneers today about creating 2 page layouts. I've got some tips for creating 24x12 layouts and gave my step by step process for saving my 24x12 layouts to 12x12s. Why don't you check it out here! I shared some tips I wish I'd have known from the beginning of my digi scrapping days!

Blogging over at Scrapaneers | A digi "How To"

Happy Day-After-Thanksgiving friends! If you're on a break from Black Friday shopping, hop on over to the Scrapaneers blog. I wrote a little how-to on bleeding a photo outside of a frame. It's a fun technique that I really enjoy using on my scrapbook pages.

Here's a couple samples from pages I've made:

Some of my Scrapaneers Peers friends let me use some of their pages as samples. They're beautiful pages, check 'em out!

My first online "how to" tutorial (Creating Strokes and Outlines)

I created my first scrapbooking/PhotoShop "how to" a week or so ago. It's posted on the Pixels & Company website. (They share different tips and tricks all the time so check their website out for  other "how tos" as well!)  I meant to share my tips here on my blog but somehow it completely slipped my mind. Hmmm. Better late than never, right?

I for one absolutely love on-line Photoshop tutorials. There are just so very many different ways to do things in PS and I enjoy learning new tricks (and learning how to fine-tune and speed up processes that I perhaps already know how to do, but that I could be doing faster) so I'm on the lookout for tutorials all the time!

Check it out. Click here for a link to my "how to" on using strokes/outlines on your Project Life and regular scrapbooking pages.

Tips & Tricks for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements: How to Recolor Elements

Just thought I'd share something with all you digi scrappers out there. Every Wednesday Tiffany of Simply Tiffany Studios does a Q&A Wednesday video tutorial. She's on week two and Q&A Wednesday has been great (last week it was on shadowing). Very helpful. This week's tutorial video is on how to recolor elements in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. Tiffany is an awesome teacher and if you're wondering how to do this particular trick, you might want to check out her video. (I'd check it out even if you're already a seasoned digi scrapper.)

FYI, I've been been digi scrapping for a years but I'm ALWAYS open to new ways of doing things. I've been recoloring my elements for a long time, but Tiffany demonstrated a way that is a bit different than I do it. I like her method better than I've been doing it so I've got a new trick to add to my tool box. Yay!

So ... if you want to check it out. Click here and you'll be linked up to her blog post!
