Our Christmas Card

Wow, last year I didn't even make a Christmas card and this year I've already got 'em in the mail! I'm so happy to be feeling a little bit ahead of the game this time. I took these photos Thanksgiving weekend when we visited the Bentleyville Tour of Lights in Duluth. What fun!

Small Moment Big Story (Great Grandma's visit)

Oh my gosh, I've been doing a POTD (photo of the day) project for almost two years now. I absolutely love it! I've been intrigued by Becky Higgin's Project Life project as well but it's a bit different than the method I've been using to date - I can't switch mid-year you know! ;) (It is intriguing though!) I went to the Jessica Sprague shoppe and was looking at some of Becky's new kits. I found this "Cobalt" kit and OMG I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It's perfect for "regular" digi-scrapping too. Yay! (I'm also using a Template Tuesday 45 that'll be coming out next week. Be sure to check it out!

The Papasan Chair

In the Making Designs has an awesome "Rockin Template Pack" COMING SOON at Jessica Sprague! As soon as I saw it and Echo Park Hybrid's Country Drive kit I knew I had to use them for this photo of DD in her papasan chair!.

Free class at Jessica Sprague!

I wanted to tell you all about a new *FREE!* class offered at JessicaSprague.com. In class we'll create a hybrid garland. It looks like a fun project. It's going to be a week-long class and on the website Jessica says: "In addition to our amazing project, our class will be filled with ideas to make your holiday memory making, and memory-keeping a little brighter and a little more fun!"

I've taken about a zillion classes at J*S and I've loved each and every one of them. Besides Jessica's awesome teaching skills, the forums and galleries are fun and filled with inspiration! If you haven't taken a class at J*S yet - or if this will be your first class there - a free class at J*S will be great fun!

There's still time to register! Check it out here!

Birthday #s 12 and 15

Just thought I'd pop the kids' birthday pictures together to see what the pages will look like in the family book. I like it. I like that the page are so similar but I also like the different styled background. I think Grant will like his page! (I already know DD likes hers since her birthday was a little while back.

#15 - It's birthday time again!

I took a different route on DS's birthday number this year. I decided I'd plug in a bunch of images of things he's into at the moment and use that as a background to his pictures. I thought it would be a good reminder of his interests at the moment. But seriously ... 15? How can he possibly be so old?!

Glamour Girls!

I can't say it enough ... I HATE typos! I found a typo on this page and I'm attempting to delete the old version from existence. Why, oh why, don't I catch that stuff despite re-reading things a thousand times? I guess I know what it SHOULD say and that's what I see. So .... drumroll please ... here's a corrected page ...

What We've Been Up To - August, September & October 2011

Here's my current installments of my WWBUp2 (What We've Been Up To) mini book. This is a mini book that I add pages to every month and send to the grandparents. I keep it super simple so I can put it together quickly, print in 5x7, and send off to the grandparents and they can just add it to the jump ring. I love it. Keep it simple, right?! I think this is my third or fourth year doing this already. Here's October's version:
