Our Mother Daughter Mediterranean Cruise

I thought I was finished with my 2013 album today and then I took one last look through the pages I created for the year and decided I wanted another page with photos of my mom, sisters and me on our Mediterranean Cruise this fall. I went with a design and used techniques from Jana Morton's Inspired Images class. This page was a lot of fun to create! (And do you know what? The cruise was a lot of fun too!)

Art House Textures 1 by Jodi Lee
Thrift Store Grab Bag (wood frame) by Kitschy Digitals
All American Summer (wood paper) by Design by Dani
Happiness Lies Within Smears by Mye De Leon

My book is going off to print! | Mediterranean Vacation Album!

This is it! I'm sending my album off to print at Blurb tonight or tomorrow night. It's been a really big project over this past month and I've really enjoyed it! I've shared a lot of my pages (but not all) here on my blog but I thought I'd share the whole thing at one time. It was such a fabulous trip and I can't wait to get my album back from the printer!!

I really enjoy creating themed albums!

This is the cover to the album:

This is the intro page to the album:

These pages are the "guts" of the album:

When I was looking at all my pages I really felt like the prior page (the page from St. Peter's Square) really didn't work as a final page. I needed something to show that I had come to the end of the book and our trip, so this is what I came up with:

And finally … I needed an image for the back cover of the album. The back cover of the book isn't always noticed, but for the times that people do notice the back album cover I wanted to design a page. This is what I came up with this morning:

Thanks for looking!

Vacation Album | Final random pages!

I'm going to share some random vacation album pages with you tonight. I think I might just be done with my book! The next step is to read through all the pages so I can tweak the journaling if necessary and find any typos. (I hate typos! I hope I'm a good proofreader.)

I started the album cover this morning - I'm just thinking about it for a bit before I finalize it. It's all coming together! I'm kinda proud of myself. I allowed myself 3 months to get this book done and I created it in a month. (I might be patting myself on the back prematurely since I haven't actually sent it to print yet. I will though!)

Vacation Album | Venice, Italy

I am getting so close to finishing up my vacation album. I'm getting excited and a bit impatient! Tonight I'm going to share with you my pages from our stay in Venice. Venice is such a magical place and is just so gorgeous that I simply had to make a few pages from that amazing city!
