You may recall that I posted a calendar I made for the Unzen family a couple of weeks ago. I also made a calendar for the May side of the family, I just didn't post it because it was a gift and I knew it would be seen on the blog. The calendars are all distributed now, so ... drum roll please (ha!) ... here's the May family 2012 calendar:

What We've Been Up To - November 2011
It's the 18th of December and somehow I completely forgot to do my installment of What We've Been Up To for November. I guess I've been busy. :) I got up this morning and put it together though so here it is!
Now I need to put some thought into what I want to do for 2012. I think I'm going to continue making them - I've been making them since 2009 (or was it 2008?). Every once in a while I grab my mini-books and check out the old photos. I enjoy that. Hmmm ... maybe I'll change it up a bit. Maybe I won't. I guess I have a couple weeks to think about it!
Have a great day!

(FYI, I used a grungy texture overlay for an grunge-y, vintage-y look and a snowflake overlay for some subtle snowflakes. I like the look.)
P365 - Book Cover & Intro Page
2011 is fast coming to a close and I've been keeping up with my photo of the day project. (Yay!) I'm really striving to be able to send my book off to print at Shutterfly ASAP. (I'm striving for January 1st!) If I'm going to attain that goal, I need to get my album cover and intro page ready to go now. (Last year the cover and intro page were the reason it took me an extra week or so to send off my book.) Not a big deal ... I know ... but I'm excited to have my book in hand!
Anyway ... here a peek at what I'm thinking my album cover will look like:
Here's a peek at what I'm thinking of doing for an intro page. I feel a bit odd including a picture of myself, but I'm not always in a lot of pictures and Scott says that since I created the book, I should be on the cover. He's so sweet!
Supplies: I used Paislee Press' Adorned kit for the papers inside the book. For the album cover I used Paislee Press' Adorned and Photobooth kits. (I love her stuff!)

Fifteen ... a favorite gift?
This is another page I made for my Holiday class with Tiffany Tillman. I'm not just doing holiday layouts for class this year ... I'm doing a bunch of catch up of pages throughout the year. It feels good to be getting a bit closer to caught up. (I'm not there yet, but I know it'll happen!)
You can find the credits for this layout here.
Snow Day (this past January)
I created this LO a couple months ago for Tiffany Tillman's Holiday class at www.reneepearson.com. I thought I'd post it now that class has started. I really enjoy Tiffany's classes and it's fun to see some of my LOs used in class!
These are photos from this past January. It's certainly not looking this snowy here yet but I'm sure it'll be here soon enough. I'm not a winter gal, but my kids would love to go skiing and snowboarding some time! For me, I'm happy staying inside where I can be cozy and warm!

Family Reunion - 22nd annual!
Here's a layout I just created using Echo Park Hybrid's new Times & Seasons kits that will be coming to Jessica Sprague on the 19th of December. I always love vintage themed kits!

2012 Calendar Toppers {Jan-April} (a gift for my inlaws)
I've been sitting at my computer all night making calendar toppers for my inlaws for Christmas. {It's become a standard on their Christmas wish list and of course I'm happy to oblige.} Now ... shhhh ... don't tell them ... hopefully they won't visit my blog in the next two weeks and see the calendar. (I don't think they will.) Just thought I'd share. (I wonder if I should think about doing some swapping of photos and making another calendar for me or my side of the family. Hmmm ... something to think about ... TOMORROW! I'm exhausted and am heading off to bed!) TFL!

Bentleyville (revised a bit for WB)
I changed up the Bentleyville page just a bit. Can you tell the difference? (The white balance was way off in the no-flash photos vs. the flash photos.) It was driving me crazy. The WB in the photos is still just a bit off, but they're more close at least! (A big thanks to Gennifer Bursett who kindly played around with one of the photos I just couldn't get right using RadLab and RAW (software I don't have). Hmmm ... do I need that software. I may need to check in to it!

We Survived (taking the bad along with the good)
I feel like I need to scrap not only the good times but also some of the bad times as well on occasion. It's reality, right? I like these photos of the kids (even though they look pitiful), and this was an "event" that affected the entire family for an entire week so in my mind it needed to be scrapped!

Bentleyville - Tour of Lights
This is the first "Christmas-y" layouts I've made for Tiffany Tillman's Holiday 2011 class at Renee Pearson.com. It's going to be a fun class!

P365 - Week 48: November 26 - December 2, 2011
I can't believe Week 48 has come to a close already and it's almost the end of the year. I do have to say that I definitely still enjoy this POTD project and I'm sure I'll be taking a POTD again next year. What fun!

It's officially Christmas season!
It's December 1st so it's officially Christmas season! To start off the season I thought I'd post an oldie (2009) but a goodie. It's a page I created for my Days of December album that showcased the kiddos with Santa when they were little. The title of the page (Dear Santa) is even an extraction of Lauren's handwriting from a 2004 letter to Santa. (I love how she was so little she even wrote her "S" backwards. It''s making me nostalgic now!) I love Christmas!
