It always makes me happy when I get albums back from Blurb Books. I got the vacation album I created from the January 2018 mother-daughter trip I took to Monterey, California with my mom & sisters back from the printer last week &. I had to wait to post the book until I shared the albums with them over Easter! I love scrapping (and hanging out with these guys)!
I'm hosting a Color Challenge over at The Digital Press this month. I think this challenge is going be a lot of fun. Here's the page I created as a sample for you. I'd love it if you'd play along. I'll link you up to the challenge details at the bottom of this of post.
As I'm doing a final look through my 2017 photos to finish up my family album I realized I didn't have any vacation photos in my son's album. Hmmm ... it slipped through the cracks. Going forward I realize I need to make a point of at least making a layout containing a couple vacation photos to include in my kids' albums. Now I'm going to change this up a bit and focus on photos that have my daughter in it and put it in her book. Easy peasy changes!

I'm finishing up my final documentation for 2017. Years down the road when we page through my scrapbooks I think it'll be fun to remember the current Netflix obsessions. I think it's fun now remembering some of the shows I watched when I was a kid so I think it'll be the same 20 years from now!
