Celebrating spring with an herb garden

My daughter enjoyed having a potted herb garden summer before last. Then last summer we were gone for a couple weeks early in the summer so we never got around to planting one. We definitely missed it! So, this summer my husband found some plans from a This Old House magazine and the two of them built a raised garden this summer. She's loving it! So am I!

2014 Digi Project Life | Week 28

Yay! I got my Week 28 PL pages done tonight using a couple of great kits from Mye De Leon (Beat the Heat, Sunshine & Childhood).

Bring on the Party | A Birthday Celebration at Osaka Hibachi Grill

Dinner at a Japanese Hibachi Grill is so much fun! The kiddos had never been to a Hibachi grill before this evening when we were celebrating Scott's 50th birthday. Now that they have ... they love it too!

It's Saturday night and I'm sitting here scrapping and watching TV with my son. One-on-one time with the teenage kid ... that's a good thing!

Now for scrappy talk ... For these pages I used Everyday Flair kit by creashens and the kraft title was created with a Bebas font using Essential Styles by Mommyish (a Dollar Day Special at Pixels & Co. during the month of July) at Pixels and Company. I'm really loving (and using a lot!) this styles set. Seriously ... great stuff!

Digi Project Life | Week 27

This week's Project Life pages were fun to create because besides all the everyday family moments I love to document, I also got to include memories of being at the resort (and at the lake) over the 4th of July.

Have you checked out Pixels and Company's Dollar Days? I'm loving it! There are just so many goodies to choose from! I used Wishing Well Creations's Stitched Down. Vol. 5 (available on the Dollar Days tomorrow) and a collab kit called Little Ray of Sunshine (not Dollar Days but available now) byMommyish and Meaghan Mullins to create this page about my daughter and me.

Have I mentioned that I love P&Co's Dollar Days? I'm a huge fan of Scotty Girl Designs' This Year 2014 collections for my Project Life pages. If you want to check 'em out, a few of the parts of this collection are available for $1 this month!

I'm usually sharing pages with photos of my kiddos now (at 14 & 17) ... it was super fun for me to scrap a page of them way back when they were little! Where has the time gone?
