Want to learn digital scrapbooking from the ground up ... or how about basic photo editing in Photoshop/Elements? Jessica Sprague has teamed up with Groupon to offer one hot deal for those interested in one or both classes. Check it out here! (FYI, these classes are on-line so wherever you are - the classes are ready and waiting for you!)
I've taken both of these classes and can tell you - they're great. As a matter of fact, I've loved all the classes I've taken at Jessica Sprague. Check 'em out!

Random Snapshots - October 2011
I'm flying on these Random Snapshots pages for 2011. I'm determined to finish all of the pages for my 2011 family album in the next month. I think I've got about 150 pages done for my family album so far. Looking at the list of pages I still want to scrap for 2011, I'm estimating I have about a dozen pages left to create (plus November & December random snapshots and the cover pages). I'm getting there! There's no reason I'm in a rush. It's all self imposed. I think it's because this is the first year I haven't printed my 12x12 pages throughout the year. I'm printing two bound Shutterfly albums for the year. I guess I'm just impatient. I want to see all my pages printed and put together in one place. Soon!
So ... I'm done rambling. Here's my October 2011 random snapshots...

Besuch in Deutschland (Visiting Deutschland)
I had a chance to use Echo Park's new Note 2 Self kit for this page. (It'll be released soon!) It's got a great vintage-y feel to it!

Random Snapshots - May 2011
Well, it's 12:45am and I can't sleep. I thought I may as well get up and be productive and post some pages.
Oh my gosh. Just this moment I can completely hear a bunch of what I can only assume are coyotes outside howling. This is so WIERD! I wonder if this goes on out there at night all the time and I'm just sleeping, or if I hear it now because it's so nice out and the windows are open. I know we have coyotes, but seriously, we live in town. Odd.
Anyway ... here's my May 2011 Random Snapshots. I finished up June also, so as soon as I get those saved for the web I'll be posting those too.
Update ... the coyotes (?) are quiet now. They must have moved on. Too weird!

My compliments to the chef - a Year in Review - 2011
I thought it would be fun to do a year in review page for Lauren to showcase some of the wonderful baking projects she's undertaken this past year. Looking at this page - I'm so impressed with what she makes at only 11/12 years old - and I also wonder why we don't all weigh 700 pounds! LOL!

Favorite Photos - Grant at Cocoa Beach
I scrapped these photos for my family book back in 2010, but I realized I never put them in Grant's book. I absolutely love these photos so I decided I'd put them together for Grant's book too! I love summer pages!

Our sweet pup!
I created this page using a bunch of stuff from Jessica Sprague. I had an opportunity to use some new product from Jenni Bowlin Designs that will be coming out in the next couple of weeks. You can find all the credits for this page here.

Layout of the Week at Shabby Princess
Yahoo! My "Sisters" layout got picked as Layout of the Week at Shabby Princess this week. Getting that email made my day. I absolutely love all Shabby Princess digi products so I'm quite sure I can manage to spend the $10. (OK I did already - and then some!)
Here's a link to the posting and here's the LO again.
You know, I got LOTW (layout of the week) there a couple of months ago too. (Again, totally made my day.) For the fun of it, here's a linkto that post.

Random Snapshots - April 2011
In glad I'm doing these "random snapshots" pages. I'm glad to be using some of the snapshots that haven't made it to a full scrapbook page, but that still represent what was going on in our life at the time. These are such fun, quick pages to put together!
P365+1 - Week 8: February 19 - February 25, 2012 (a redo) (+ Volleyball & Basketball)
Here's a re-do of Week 8. I decided I wanted to do a full page of Grant's basketball tournament (and Lauren's volleyball tournament) so I swapped out a photo. Here also are the additional pages I made for last weekend's volleyball and basketball tournaments.
(Are the reds crazy in this page or what?!)
And as a total contrast to the vivid reds in Grant's basketball page, I think the colors on this page of Lauren's volleyball tournament make it look almost old fashioned/vintage(y). (At least the colors do!)
